Another way to love food

Basket of Colors isn't asking anyone to stop loving food. It's creating another way to enjoy it — recipes developed through a nutrition lens, made to be genuinely craved.

Meet Simi — and the kitchen behind the basket

A nutritionist who genuinely loves food, and the creator behind @basketofcolors.

Basket of Colors started long before the first cupcake — as an Instagram kitchen where Simi kept answering one question: does eating well really have to mean eating boring? Post by post, recipe by recipe, the answer kept coming back no. The bakes that friends and followers kept asking to buy became the push to turn a feed into a food brand — built together with Anmol (@awaranmol), who handles everything that isn't in the oven.

Her philosophy is simple: food isn't good or bad, and dessert isn't a reward you have to earn. When ingredients are chosen with intention, the food you crave and the food that serves you can be the same plate.
