Made for cravings.
Built on nutrition.
Cupcakes and bakes from a nutritionist who genuinely loves food — every recipe developed with intention, every ingredient out in the open.
Food shouldn't have to choose between delicious and thoughtful.
Basket of Colors began with a nutritionist's view of everyday food: that the things we crave can be made with the same care we bring to the things we call healthy. So we develop recipes where ingredients matter as much as taste — and then we show you exactly what went in.
Our storyNew from the basket
The first collection: cupcakes, reimagined from the ingredient list up.
Why we choose our ingredients
Tap an ingredient to see what it is, why it's here, and what it does in the recipe.
The cupcake is familiar. What's inside it doesn't have to be.
Recipes with a reason
Every recipe starts from a nutrition brief, not a shortcut. Ingredients earn their place — for what they add, not just what they replace.
Taste is non-negotiable
Each product is tested for flavour and texture until it stands on its own. If it doesn't make you want a second one, it doesn't launch.
Transparency by default
Full ingredient lists on every product, and nutrition details published as they're verified — never invented, never vague.
Meet the minds behind the basket
Simi is a nutritionist and the creator behind @basketofcolors — someone who believes knowing your food should make it more joyful, not less.
What began as an Instagram kitchen answering one question — does eating well have to mean eating boring? — became a food brand, built together with Anmol. Every recipe here starts with her nutrition lens and ends with the only test that matters: would you reach for a second one?
